All Opry House tours are guided by our team of experts, who will share behind-the-scenes stories from 100 years (and counting!) of Opry history.

No, a tour of the Opry House must be purchased separately from your Opry show ticket.

Children 12 & under can tour at a discounted rate of $12.63 when accompanied by a ticketed adult. Kids 3 & under tour free with box office redemption. All tours are family-friendly and suitable for children.

You can book a tour in advance by reserving your spot online, or you can buy tickets at the box office on the day of your tour.

Before moving to the Opry House in 1974, the Opry’s most famous home was the historic Ryman Auditorium in downtown Nashville. For 31 years, the Ryman saw a golden era of country music, with Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, and many more taking the stage. When the Opry moved, a six-foot circle of wood was cut from the Ryman stage and placed center stage at the new Opry House. To this day, stepping into the circle is a rite of passage—linking every performer, past and present, to the Opry’s unbroken legacy.

• Daytime Backstage Tour – Offered 7 days a week, though availability may be adjusted for special events since the Opry is an active venue.
• Women of Country Tour – Runs daily with two tour times (9:15 AM & 4:15 PM), except when closed for special events.
• The Gallery Tour – A special exhibit often available when backstage tours are not.
• VIP Experience –  Offered on Opry show nights, beginning at 5 PM before the 7 PM show or 8PM before the 9:30 PM show.
• Post Show Tour – Available on single Opry show nights, beginning right after the Opry show concludes.

• Daytime Tours – Experience enhanced digital elements and expanded history and storytelling from the Opry’s 100-year legacy.
• Post Show Tour – Discover new behind-the-scenes stories about what happens on a show night. Guests also get to sample our famous backstage lemonade and take home an exclusive Opry 100 pin as a keepsake.

• I came to the Grand Ole Opry for a tour. Anyone can get the backstage experience and what it would feel like to stand in the circle on stage!
